I tend to come up with, or hear about, lots of business ideas. I can’t use them all, so I’ll be using this blog as a way to give ideas to others. Some are good ideas, some are average ideas. I think success is based on 20% idea and 80% execution. Almost any idea can be successful in my opinion with proper execution. I’ll also be covering companies I think are interesting and blogging about things in general.
Lately, I’ve been biased toward traditional businesses with average growth. Instead of businesses with exceptional growth and large capital requirements, I lean towards low capital and moderate growth. I’ve seen many companies ruined by the growth requirements of accepting large capital infusions from venture capital firms and other large investors. If you can get the recipe for your company right, then you can get capital at a later state to speed up growth.
